Nissan has published the first official “teasers” on social media for the next generation of the Elgrand, the Japanese minivan that promises to showcase a futuristic design, a comfort-focused interior, and the latest hybrid technology.
Inspired by the Hyper Tourer, a concept presented by Nissan in 2023 during the Japan Mobility Show, the new generation of the Elgrand features a front section with a more subtle grille compared to the inspiring concept, as well as split headlights with thin LEDs.

The profile retains the characteristic sliding doors, which provide easy access to the interior, while the rear is marked by a light signature in LED technology across its entire width. Additionally, there is a spoiler positioned at the end of the roof, certainly to improve the model’s aerodynamics.

The next generation of the Elgrand, which is expected to hit the market in 2026, will be equipped with a third-generation e-Power self-charging hybrid system. This system includes a new version of the 1.5-liter gasoline engine, which operates solely as a power generator, along with electric motors that drive the wheels.
Nissan claims that the new hybrid system will bring “significant improvements in terms of quietness and fuel efficiency”, in addition to being lighter.
