Red Bull CEO Declares: Verstappen to Stay Until 2026 Amidst F1 Drama

Red Bull Manager Declares Verstappen’s Loyalty Until 2026 Amidst F1 Turmoil

In a bold declaration that sent shockwaves through the Formula 1 community, Red Bull’s CEO, Oliver Mintzlaff, reassured fans and critics alike that Max Verstappen will remain with the team until at least 2026, debunking any speculations of an impending departure.

Mintzlaff’s presence at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix following a disappointing race in Bahrain was strategic, as he addressed concerns raised by Verstappen regarding the competitiveness of the RB21 car. In an exclusive interview with Bild, Mintzlaff emphatically dismissed any notions of Verstappen leaving, stating, “Max will drive for Red Bull until 2026. He signed with us until 2028 for a reason and has recently reiterated his commitment.”

The German manager made it clear that Verstappen’s loyalty lies with Red Bull, emphasizing, “We have both benefited greatly from each other. We talk about the best driver in the world, but he also owes a lot to Red Bull. A long-term partnership means sticking together through tough times.”

Asserting Red Bull’s position in the F1 standings, Mintzlaff boldly proclaimed, “We are third in the drivers’ and constructors’ championships. Max is only eight points behind Lando Norris. Anyone who counts us out is mistaken. The F1 season is long, and no one knows how each team will evolve. While we had a rough start, we are far from questioning everything.”

Mintzlaff urged for a balanced perspective on Red Bull’s performance, reminding critics of the team’s dominance in the sport over the past four years. “Here, everyone wants to win and return to the top, and I have full confidence that we will achieve this goal.”

The declaration of Max Verstappen’s commitment until 2026 has ignited a new sense of determination within the Red Bull team, as they strive to reclaim their position at the pinnacle of Formula 1 racing.
