The British company AC Cars is celebrating its 123rd anniversary and to mark the occasion, they have announced that they will be unveiling a new Cobra GT Coupé in the spring.
The brand has not revealed many details about the new sports car, which they say is based on the Cobra GT Roadster, introduced in 2023 and recently entered into production, but they have released a teaser of the new model.
It is certain that everything points to the fact that the anniversary Cobra GT will feature a significantly larger carbon composite body than the original Cobra.
It should be noted that the Cobra GT Roadster introduced in 2023 is equipped with a 5-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that produces 454 hp, along with a supercharged version that generates 654 hp. The first option goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 155 km/h. The second option only takes 3.2 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h and has a top speed of 173 km/h.
