Fred Vasseur, the team principal of Ferrari, has spoken out about the current struggles the team is facing and the need for improvement. With the Ferrari team still without any podium finishes after four Grand Prix races, they find themselves in a disappointing fourth place in the Constructors’ Championship.

The highly anticipated arrival of Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari has not yielded the expected results, leaving fans and critics alike wondering what is going wrong for the iconic team from Maranello. Vasseur addressed the challenges faced by the team, emphasizing the importance of maximizing the potential of their car.

In a recent interview, Vasseur highlighted the performance inconsistencies of the SF-25, stating, “In the last Grand Prix, we showed improvement, but we were not consistent enough throughout the weekend in all conditions. We had some very good stints and others less so. It’s all a matter of tire management in my opinion: the potential is there in the car, we just need to do a better job.”

Vasseur also touched upon the adaptation struggles of Lewis Hamilton to the new car, echoing Hamilton’s own public acknowledgment of the difficulties he has been facing. The team principal emphasized that it is not just the drivers who need to adjust their driving styles but also the team as a whole to optimize performance.

As Ferrari gears up for the upcoming race in Saudi Arabia, all eyes will be on the team to see if they can turn their season around and start challenging for podiums. With Vasseur’s determination to push the team forward and unlock the full potential of their car, Ferrari fans are hopeful for a strong showing in the races to come.
