The Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia in F1: Race Times Set for 6:00 PM

Get ready for the thrill of the Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia in Formula 1, set to be the fifth race of the F1 World Championship this year. With past victories from powerhouse teams like Mercedes and Red Bull, including drivers Hamilton, Verstappen, and Pérez, this year’s race promises to be a nail-biter like no other.

Since its debut in 2021, the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix has been a breath of fresh air in the F1 calendar, delivering exciting races that keep fans on the edge of their seats. The track features a unique layout with long ‘twisty’ straights and 27 challenging corners, setting it apart from any other circuit on the schedule. Drivers will push the pedal to the metal on 79% of the track, with an average lap speed of around 250 km/h, making it the fastest street circuit in F1 history.

Located in the picturesque city of Jeddah, with a population of around 3.5 million people along the Red Sea coast, the circuit is nestled in the Corniche area, which boasts 30 km of coastal resorts. And to add to the spectacle, the race will once again take place under the night sky, adding an extra layer of drama to the event.

In its inaugural race in 2021, drivers tackled 50 laps on the 6.174 km circuit, covering a total race distance of 308.45 km. The current lap record of 1m30.764, set by Lewis Hamilton in 2021, stands as a testament to the speed and skill required to conquer the Jeddah street circuit.

For all the F1 enthusiasts out there, mark your calendars with the following schedule:
– Friday, April 18th:
– Free Practice 1: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
– Free Practice 2: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
