Gibbs, driving the No. 54 car, achieved a season-best third-place finish, marking his second top-10 finish and second consecutive success in the NASCAR Cup Series. The talented driver expressed his excitement, stating, “It was a good day. I was kind of managing the race and figuring out the way we needed to be. It was fun. I had a blast. We’ve definitely made an improvement.”
Just two weeks ago, Gibbs was languishing in 31st place in the championship standings. However, under the guidance of new crew chief Tyler Allen, the team has experienced a significant turnaround. I think we’re back where we’re going to run.”
