Sauber’s Nightmare Continues in F1 2025: No Room for Error for Bortoleto and Hulkenberg

Struggling to find their footing in the F1 2025 season, Sauber’s drivers Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hulkenberg are facing a daunting challenge with their C45 cars. Bortoleto expressed his frustration, claiming that the working window for their vehicle is so minuscule that it might as well be non-existent. The Brazilian driver’s concerns were echoed by Hulkenberg, who acknowledged the tough road ahead to secure points in the competitive field.

After a disappointing performance at the Bahrain Grand Prix where neither driver advanced past Q1, Sauber finds themselves in a precarious position in the Constructors’ Championship. With their only points of the season coming from Hulkenberg’s seventh-place finish in Australia, the team has been struggling to replicate that success in subsequent races.

Bortoleto’s doubts about Sauber’s ability to break into the top ten reflect the team’s ongoing challenges in finding the right balance and pace with their car. The Brazilian driver emphasized the need for a more predictable and stable setup to improve their performance on the track.

As Sauber battles to stay afloat in the midfield pack, the pressure is mounting on both Bortoleto and Hulkenberg to deliver results in the upcoming races. With fierce competition and a demanding race schedule ahead, the drivers will need to push themselves to the limit to overcome the hurdles hindering their progress.

Will Sauber be able to turn their season around and rise to the occasion? Only time will tell as the F1 2025 season unfolds with twists and turns that could make or break the team’s aspirations for success on the track.
