In a thrilling kick-off to the Miami E-Prix at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Nick Cassidy roared to the top spot in FP1, leaving his competitors in the dust. The Jaguar driver dominated the session, outpacing Antonio Felix da Costa from Porsche by a razor-thin margin.
Cassidy’s lightning-fast performance saw him complete 16 laps with a best time of 1m23.785s, just 0.113s ahead of da Costa. Taylor Barnard from NEOM McLaren secured the third spot, trailing behind by 0.58s. The top five was rounded out by Mitch Evans and Pascal Wehrlein, representing Jaguar and Porsche, respectively.
