Yuki Tsunoda Blasts Red Bull Over ‘Miscommunication’ Issues as Bahrain Grand Prix Looms

The tension is mounting at Red Bull Racing as Yuki Tsunoda, the rising star, unleashes a storm of criticism over alleged ‘miscommunication’ within the team, just ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Despite Red Bull’s recent success with Max Verstappen clinching victories, the atmosphere within the team seems to be clouded with uncertainty as Tsunoda struggles to find his rhythm in only his second race with the top-tier team.

The RB21 car has been plagued by tire degradation issues, putting Red Bull at a disadvantage on the abrasive Sakhir track, especially under the scorching heat expected during the race weekend. Tsunoda’s performance in the practice sessions at Bahrain has also been lackluster, with the Japanese driver finishing behind his predecessor, Liam Lawson, in FP1, and landing in the 18th spot in FP2, far behind teammate Verstappen.

In a fiery post-FP2 interview, Tsunoda didn’t hold back, pointing out the team’s communication breakdowns, stating, “There was a lot of miscommunication between our side of the garage, on the radio, for example.” The young driver hinted at ongoing struggles to adapt to the differences in car setups and performance expectations.

While Tsunoda remains cautiously optimistic about his chances in the upcoming qualifying rounds, the pressure is palpable as he acknowledges the need for significant improvements, admitting, “I hope it’ll be better… It has to be better than this.” Despite the challenges faced by the team, Tsunoda remains hopeful that refining operations and enhancing communication will pave the way for a stronger performance in the races to come.

As the Bahrain Grand Prix draws near, all eyes are on Red Bull Racing to address the internal issues highlighted by Tsunoda’s bold statements and deliver a united front on the track.
