Red Bull Racing’s Rising Star Isack Hadjar Impresses Helmut Marko Across Circuits

Red Bull Racing’s motorsport advisor, Helmut Marko, is singing the praises of rookie driver Isack Hadjar, hailing his impressive speed on every track he tackles. Amidst a season filled with team changes, including the departure of Sergio Perez, Red Bull Racing has been closely monitoring its lineup’s performance.

With Liam Lawson initially securing a seat alongside Max Verstappen, a quick shift saw Yuki Tsunoda taking over after just two races, pushing Lawson back to the sister team. However, it is Hadjar, also a rookie this season, who has been turning heads with his consistent and remarkable performances, despite a minor mishap during the formation lap in Australia.

Marko, in a recent conversation with Motorsport.com during the Bahrain Grand Prix, expressed his surprise at Hadjar’s recent displays, commending the French-Algerian driver for his speed and solid performances across various circuits. Hadjar showcased his talent by securing his first Formula 1 points with an eighth-place finish in Japan.

During the Bahrain practice sessions, Hadjar demonstrated his prowess by posting the 12th fastest time in Practice 1 and climbing up to the sixth fastest in Practice 2, although the true test lies in the upcoming races. The 20-year-old driver has shown his determination to excel, mentioning his eagerness to understand and rise to the challenge of driving alongside Verstappen, despite his teammates’ recent struggles.

Hadjar’s relentless drive to perform at his best and push the limits reflects his commitment to making a mark in the competitive world of Formula 1. As he continues to impress both fans and critics alike, all eyes are on this young talent as he navigates his way through the high-speed drama of the racing world.
