In a jaw-dropping start to the Bahrain Grand Prix, Lando Norris dominated the first practice session, leaving fans breathless with his impressive performance. The McLaren driver set the pace by clocking an incredible 1m33.204s, showcasing his skill and determination right from the beginning.

The session was not short of excitement as six FP1-only rookies took to the track, eager to make their mark. Among them, Williams junior Luke Browning stood out, finishing in 13th place, just 1.6s off the lead. However, the practice session was not without its moments of tension, as Browning narrowly avoided a collision with his teammate Alex Albon, sparking an investigation by the stewards.

Ferrari protege Dino Beganovic also made his presence felt during his F1 practice debut, finishing 14th and providing valuable insights to the Ferrari team for their new floor comparison. The session also saw other rookies like Felipe Drugovich, Ryo Hirakawa, Frederik Vesti, and Ayumu Iwasa showcasing their talent on the track.

As the regular drivers took their turn on the circuit, Lewis Hamilton impressed with a late soft tyre run, securing the third-fastest time. Williams’ Alex Albon followed closely behind in fourth place, demonstrating the team’s competitive edge early in the race weekend. Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg surprised many by finishing sixth, while Liam Lawson and Jack Doohan put up strong performances as well.

With the top 10 completed by drivers like Yuki Tsunoda and Oscar Piastri, the competition at the Bahrain Grand Prix is already heating up. As teams fine-tune their strategies and drivers push themselves to the limit, the stage is set for a thrilling and action-packed weekend ahead. Stay tuned for more updates as the drama unfolds on the track.
