Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% elétrico em Portugal desde €40 690: Encomendas abertas

Renault has decided to update the Scenic by equipping the fully electric family model with a set of new features and technologies that enhance the driving experience of a 100% electric vehicle.

Among the new features, there is a fifth level of regenerative braking. All versions of the Scenic E-Tech electric, with regenerative braking systems and paddles on the steering wheel, now include “One Pedal”.

In addition to adding a fifth layer of regeneration, the system allows for acceleration, deceleration, and stopping at traffic lights or red signals, using only the right pedal, without touching the middle one – which, of course, remains available if more intense braking is necessary.

This technology developed by Ampere has several other advantages: besides providing smoother and less demanding driving in urban environments, it reduces brake pad wear and optimizes energy capture.

In addition to “One Pedal,” the Scenic E-Tech is now equipped as standard with a bidirectional 11 kW AC charger, which can support any power from 3 kW (single-phase) to 11 kW (three-phase).

Additionally, a new 22 kW AC bidirectional fast charger, which allows for an 80 km charge in just 30 minutes at public stations, is available as an option.

Renault has also enhanced the Esprit Alpine and Iconic versions. Thus, the Esprit Alpine version now comes standard with front seats equipped with electric adjustments in 6 directions (longitudinal, height, and tilt), in addition to the already existing electric lumbar adjustment and heating function. The driver’s seat is also equipped with a massage function.

On the other hand, the Iconic version now offers two interior environments, with new TEP upholstery made from partially biological sources, in titanium black as standard, accompanied by decorative Alcantara inserts on the doors and dashboard, and cool pure grey upholstery offered as an option, also incorporating decorative lime wood inserts.

The front seats and rear seat have been redesigned to improve lateral support. Additionally, the heated passenger seat is now electrically adjustable, while the driver’s seat retains its heating, massage, and electric adjustment functions.

The customization options for the two top-end versions are now broader, as Renault has equipped the Scenic E-Tech with a camera integrated into the A-pillar on the left side. This allows the vehicle to recognize the driver as soon as they enter and adjust the settings associated with their user profile, including favorite radio stations, multimedia content, seat and mirror positions, and the applications they have downloaded for the openR link. In addition to this set of new features, Renault also announced that updates for the openR link multimedia system will be continuous.
