The new Hyundai Inster was presented to the national press this Thursday and will hit the national market with two versions, starting at €19,250.
With a bold, robust, and compact design, the new city car combines a futuristic and innovative image with a spacious and highly versatile interior within a compact urban SUV body.

On the exterior, the strong wheel arches, high-tech elements in the bumpers, and lower protection give the model a distinctive look. The personality of the new Inster is also revealed in the LED daytime running lights, turn signal indicators, rear lights, and pixelated bumpers.
There is also a variety of wheel options for different tastes, ranging from 15’’ steel wheels to 17’’ alloy wheels for a premium look.
The new Hyundai Inster is available in nine exterior colors, inspired by natural tones that pay homage to the brand’s Korean heritage: Abyss Black Pearl, Tomboy Khaki, Dusk Blue Matte, Unbleached Ivory, Sienna Orange, Bijarim Khaki Matte, Atlas White Solid, Buttercream Yellow, and Aero Silver Matte.

The interior design stands out for its level of versatility and space, which Hyundai claims is unique in the segment, with all seats able to be folded down, and the rear seats can also slide and recline to offer more legroom or trunk space as needed. This way, Hyundai announces that the trunk of the small Inster has a capacity of 280 liters, which can increase to 351 liters with the rear seats folded down. With all seats fully folded, the maximum capacity reaches 1,059 liters.
Additionally, there is a highlight on the digital cockpit equipped with two 10.25” screens, one for the instrument panel and another for the infotainment system, featuring navigation and an integrated wireless charging base in the compact central console.

Depending on the trim level, the Inster may include a wireless mobile charging pad, 64-color LED ambient lighting, heated front seats, and a comprehensive list of driver assistance systems.
The new 100% electric urban subcompact of segment A from Hyundai also offers an extensive list of driver assistance and safety systems, highlighting Front Collision Prevention Assistance, Rear Parking Assistance Camera, Rear and Front Parking Sensors, along with Lane Keeping Assist, Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop and Go, Intelligent Speed Limit Assistance, among others.

In terms of powertrains, the new Inster comes in the entry-level Standard-Range version, featuring a 97 hp electric motor powered by a 42 kWh battery, while the Long-Range variant is equipped with a 115 hp electric motor and a 49 kWh battery. Both variants provide 147 Nm of torque.
Regarding charging, the new Inster’s battery can be recharged from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes at a 120 kW DC fast charging station. On the other hand, using an 11 kW AC charging outlet, a full charge takes 4 hours for the base model or 4 hours and 35 minutes for the Long Range version. The Inster also features a V2L function that allows it to power other electrical devices and claims a range of 327 km in the entry-level version under the combined WLTP cycle and 473 km in urban driving, while the Long-Range variant claims a range of 360 km under the combined cycle and 493 km in urban driving.
