Fernando Alonso Unveils £2M Bespoke Aston Martin: Hypercar Madness at Monaco!

Fernando Alonso Splurges £2 Million on Exclusive Aston Martin Hypercar

Former Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso has added a jaw-dropping bespoke Aston Martin Valiant hypercar to his impressive car collection, with a staggering price tag of £2 million. This “rear winged titan” will now share space in the racing legend’s garage alongside the renowned Valkyrie model. The acquisition comes at a time when Alonso’s F1 team has been struggling to deliver top performances on the track.

Last year, Alonso treated himself to the extraordinary Valkyrie hypercar, a vehicle intricately designed based on Formula 1 insights and crafted in collaboration with Q by Aston Martin, mirroring the exclusivity of his latest purchase.

The Valkyrie is hailed as “a true F1 car for the road,” boasting a powerful hybrid 6.5-liter V12 powertrain generating 1,155PS, propelling the car from 0-60mph in under 2.5 seconds. Painted in a striking satin Aston Martin Racing Green with satin lime pinstriping, Alonso’s personal touch is evident in every detail, including the blue, red, and yellow striping on the venturi tunnels and the exposed carbon fiber roof.

Alonso revealed his latest acquisition in Monaco and Paris, showcasing a 745 PS 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, an all-carbon fiber body, and a top speed of 202 mph. With only 38 units of this hypercar set to be manufactured, the exclusivity of Alonso’s collection is further elevated.

Marek Reichman, the executive vice president and chief creative officer at Aston Martin, described the Valiant as “a true thoroughbred aimed at being enjoyed to the full on a racetrack, yet still usable on the road,” embodying the essence of motorsport through its dynamic design and exquisite details.

While Alonso’s car assortment continues to flourish, Aston Martin faces challenges on the racing circuit. With Alonso yet to secure a championship point in the 2025 season after a series of setbacks in the first few races, the team is redirecting its focus towards 2026. The forthcoming year will witness the implementation of new regulations, with the team banking on the expertise of Adrian Newey, a revamped wind tunnel, and substantial investments to propel them up the rankings.

As Alonso revels in his latest automotive marvel, all eyes are on Aston Martin Racing, eagerly awaiting their resurgence in the competitive world of Formula 1.
