Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time Formula 1 world champion, is causing a stir at Ferrari with his recent comments about the team’s performance issues. Hamilton, who joined Ferrari at the start of the F1 2025 season, has been vocal about a part of his car being defective, leading to subpar results on the track.

Former F1 driver Christian Danner has criticized Hamilton for being “bit stroppy” and making “cryptic accusations” against Ferrari, adding to the team’s existing problems. Danner highlighted that Ferrari is facing a “twofold problem” – Hamilton’s struggles to adapt to the car and the vehicle’s lack of speed compared to rivals.

Despite Hamilton’s Sprint win in Shanghai, Ferrari has had a disappointing start to the season, scoring only 35 points and facing a double disqualification in China. The team has been unable to reach the podium in any Grand Prix so far, further amplifying the pressure on Hamilton and Ferrari to improve their performance.

Danner emphasized the importance of Ferrari addressing Hamilton’s concerns promptly to avoid any further disruptions within the team. He noted that Hamilton’s adjustment to the new car and team dynamics is still a work in progress, unlike his successful tenure at Mercedes.

With Hamilton’s “bit stroppy” behavior and the underlying speed issues of the Ferrari car, the Italian team is facing a challenging period in the F1 season. As Hamilton continues to acclimate to his new surroundings, Ferrari will need to rally together to overcome their current setbacks and strive for better results on the track.
