Formula 1 Star Slapped with Massive Fine for Missing Japanese GP National Anthem

In a shocking turn of events, three prominent Formula 1 drivers are set to miss FP1 at the upcoming F1 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix. Fernando Alonso, George Russell, and Carlos Sainz will be sidelined for the first practice session, making way for young talents to showcase their skills on the track.

Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso, currently 17th in the drivers’ championship, will yield his seat to Felipe Drugovich. The Brazilian, a Formula 2 champion affiliated with Aston Martin, expressed his excitement about the opportunity to hit the track in an F1 car once again. Drugovich has a history of participating in development driver programs and is eager to support his team during the Bahrain GP weekend.

Meanwhile, George Russell of Mercedes will be replaced by Danish driver Frederik Vesti for FP1. Vesti, a rising star who finished second in Formula 2 in 2023, is thrilled to translate his simulator work into on-track performance with the Silver Arrows. His goal is to maximize every chance behind the wheel of an F1 car in 2025 and contribute to the team’s success in Bahrain.

On the other hand, Carlos Sainz of Williams will step aside for Luke Browning, a young talent from the Williams Racing Academy. Browning, highly rated for his achievements in lower formula series, sees this opportunity as a dream come true to gain more experience in the world of Formula 1. His primary focus for FP1 is to acclimate to the F1 environment and enhance his skills on the track.

As these seasoned drivers make room for the next generation of racers, all eyes will be on Drugovich, Vesti, and Browning as they gear up to make their mark during FP1 at the F1 2025 Bahrain GP. Stay tuned for an action-packed start to the race weekend as these young talents seize the opportunity to shine on the global stage.
