Yuki Tsunoda, the rising star in Formula 1, is not holding back after experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions in his Red Bull debut at the Japanese Grand Prix. Despite showing promising signs during practice sessions and almost making it to Q3, Tsunoda faced disappointment as he failed to secure any points in front of his home crowd.

Expressing his mixed feelings, Tsunoda shared, “It’s tough because I wanted to at least finish in the points. I am happy with the race in terms of what I have learnt but not in terms of the result, so it’s mixed feelings.” The young driver acknowledged the immense support from the fans but couldn’t deliver the performance he desired.

However, Tsunoda is not one to dwell on setbacks. He is already looking ahead to the Bahrain Grand Prix, eager to reset and prove his potential on the track. “I need to reset before Bahrain, and I am sure compared to what I was feeling, in terms of the car and confidence, it will naturally be better there,” he stated confidently.

Team principal Christian Horner echoed Tsunoda’s sentiments, recognizing the talent and progress the 24-year-old has shown. Horner praised Tsunoda’s feedback and performance potential, emphasizing that with more experience and time to settle into the team, the young driver’s performance will only improve in the upcoming races.

As Tsunoda gears up for the next challenge in Bahrain, all eyes will be on him to see if he can turn his learning experiences into tangible results on the track. Stay tuned for more adrenaline-fueled action from this dynamic driver in the upcoming races of the Formula 1 season.
