Ferrari’s Battle Cry: Refusing Surrender as 21 GPs Await in the Long Road Ahead

The Ferrari’s Team Principal, Fred Vasseur, Refuses to Surrender: “It’s Still a Long Way to Go, 21 GP Left”

After just three race weekends in the 2025 season, the Ferrari team is already struggling in both the world championships. Charles Leclerc is currently the highest-ranked Ferrari driver in sixth place, a whopping 42 points behind the leader, Lando Norris. In the constructors’ championship, the Prancing Horse is in fourth place, trailing the leading McLaren Mercedes by 76 points.

Despite high expectations from fans following a promising preseason, the SF-25 car seems to be hovering between the third and fourth positions on the track. The team’s best performances in qualifying and races have been achieved by Charles Leclerc in Japan with two fourth-place finishes. On the other hand, Lewis Hamilton has shown flashes of brilliance in the Qualifying Sprint in China with two first-place finishes, but the overall performance has been lackluster.

Looking ahead to the Bahrain Grand Prix, the Ferrari team is anticipating the first seasonal upgrades. Team Principal, Fred Vasseur, emphasized the need to “improve everywhere” following the disappointing start to the season. Despite the challenges, Vasseur remains confident and determined to rally the team and fans, refusing to give up hope.

“We have made progress compared to last week, at least in terms of operations, and we need to build on this,” explained the French manager. Vasseur acknowledged the current situation but made it clear that surrender is not an option. “We need to improve everywhere, it’s certainly not ideal at the beginning of the season. But it’s still a long way to go, with 21 races left.”

Although facing difficulties on the track, Ferrari has excelled in one aspect – pit stops. With impressive times in Australia, China, and Japan, the team has been the fastest in pit lane, showcasing their prowess in quick and efficient pit stops.

As the season unfolds, all eyes will be on Ferrari and their ability to bounce back from a challenging start. With Fred Vasseur leading the charge, the team is determined to turn their season around and fight for the top positions in the upcoming races.
