Bubba Wallace elogia vitória de Rajah Caruth na corrida de caminhões em Las Vegas como uma conquista significativa para a NASCAR.

Bubba Wallace, the only other black driver in NASCAR, sees himself as a mentor to Rajah Caruth. Wallace and Caruth recently made history when Caruth became the first African-American driver in seven years to win a NASCAR Truck Series race. Caruth’s victory at the Las Vegas event, the third race of the season, secured his spot in the 2024 truck playoffs.

Caruth, only the third black driver to win a NASCAR race, started the day in pole position and faced tough competition from experienced drivers like the two-time Cup champion and the veteran of the trucks. Despite this, Caruth’s victory was a result of his impressive racing skills and a solid strategy from his team.

After the race, Bubba Wallace expressed his joy and described the victory as a significant moment for NASCAR. As Caruth’s mentor, Wallace is incredibly proud to see the young driver achieve success.

Wallace was present at the Daytona International Speedway for the first race of the season. During the race, Caruth finished in second place after surviving a major crash on the last lap that involved multiple cars.

The accident was caused by Caruth himself, who lost control of his car and collided with other drivers. Fortunately, Caruth walked away unharmed, but his competitors were not as lucky.

Wallace was dissatisfied with the result and confronted Caruth after the race. Caruth admitted his mistake and acknowledged that he had made an error. Since then, Caruth has made significant progress and now has a well-deserved victory on his resume.
