Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion, has confessed a shocking revelation about Ferrari’s SF-25 car. In a recent interview, Hamilton disclosed the challenges he faced during the Japanese Grand Prix qualifiers, where he landed an underwhelming eighth place on the grid.

The British driver expressed his frustrations, admitting, “We are running with an SF-25 that is higher than we would like.” Hamilton hinted at being at a disadvantage compared to his competitors, stating, “I don’t know if everyone else is in the same boat. But we, especially after what happened in the last race, are a bit higher than we would like.”

Hamilton further elaborated on the technical differences between his setup and that of his teammate, Charles Leclerc, revealing, “We went in different directions, and I had a lot of understeer. I couldn’t manage it during qualifying.” Despite his efforts, Hamilton acknowledged his subpar performance, emphasizing, “I didn’t get everything out of the car. We need to develop the car.”

The Mercedes driver’s candid admission sheds light on the intricacies and challenges of Formula 1 competition at the highest level. With Hamilton’s openness about the team’s struggles and the need for improvements, fans are left eagerly anticipating the team’s future performance on the track.
