Lewis Hamilton Reveals Ferrari Struggle: SF-25 Ride Height Woes Threaten Suzuka Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton Exposes Ferrari’s High-Risk Strategy in Japan Grand Prix

In a shocking revelation, Lewis Hamilton has exposed Ferrari’s daring move of running their SF-25 challenger at a higher level than preferred during the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix. The Grand Prix has been nothing short of a rollercoaster for Hamilton, with ride height troubles haunting him throughout the ground-effect F1 era.

The struggles with ride height adjustments seem to have followed Hamilton from his time at Mercedes, where performance issues plagued the team. In a recent blow, Hamilton faced disqualification in China due to excessive plank wear, further adding to his woes.

Hamilton’s disappointment was palpable as he disclosed, “Yes, we are running higher than we would like, but I don’t know if everyone is in the same boat in that respect.” The repercussions of this risky strategy were evident as Hamilton finished a disheartening eighth in Qualifying at Suzuka, failing to showcase his true potential.

Despite his own setbacks, Hamilton praised his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc for his stellar performance, acknowledging Leclerc’s remarkable fourth-place qualification as a ‘personal breakthrough.’ Hamilton’s admiration for Leclerc’s achievement was apparent as he commended, “Charles did an amazing lap today. Maybe he outperformed the car.”

With hopes dwindling after a lackluster Qualifying round, Hamilton is now pinning his aspirations on the unpredictable Suzuka weather. Rain is forecasted for the race day in Japan, offering Hamilton a glimmer of hope to redeem himself. Known for his exceptional prowess in wet conditions, Hamilton eagerly anticipates the weather playing to his strengths in the upcoming race.

Hamilton’s sentiments were clear as he expressed his enthusiasm for the rain, stating, “I’m excited, I genuinely love the rain. It’s going to be tricky, but usually when you have a qualifying like I just had, you hope it’s going to rain. So I hope that it stays.”

As the tension mounts and the stakes soar high in the Japanese Grand Prix, all eyes are on Hamilton to see if he can overcome Ferrari’s daring gamble and emerge victorious in the face of adversity.
