Ferrari Surges to Second Row at Suzuka, Vasseur Demands More from Team!

Ferrari’s dominance at Suzuka has sent shockwaves through the racing world as they secure a spot on the second row for the Japanese Grand Prix. With Charles Leclerc clinching the impressive fourth position, the team is making strides but not without critical feedback from team principal Frederic Vasseur.

Vasseur expressed, “We were more competitive in Q1 and Q2, but struggled in Q3. Fourth place is not the target we aim for. We need to keep progressing in the right direction.” Despite Leclerc’s stellar performance, there is still a significant gap of two-tenths behind the leading McLarens, pushing Ferrari to push harder and smarter.

The disappointment was palpable for Lewis Hamilton, with Vasseur highlighting the need to analyze his unexpected performance drop in Q3. Vasseur speculated, “Anything could have happened, from a wrong setup choice to weather conditions affecting the Qualifying run.”

Looking ahead to the race, Vasseur emphasized the importance of a dry track to further understand the car’s capabilities, stating, “A dry race would be preferable to gain better insights into the car. However, regardless of the conditions, all drivers will face the same challenges. If rain comes before the start, the track dynamics will shift, along with the wind.”

The stage is set for a thrilling race at Suzuka, with Ferrari on a mission to propel themselves to the forefront of the competition. Stay tuned for more updates as the drama unfolds on the track!
