Presidente da FIA Mohammed Ben Sulayem critica vazamento de evidências de Christian Horner, chamando-o de prejudicial em um nível pessoal.

Mohammed Ben Sulayem recently had a meeting with F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali to discuss the current situation surrounding Christian Horner’s case. Sulayem, known for his involvement in motor sports, has been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons lately. A Red Bull employee accused the 50-year-old man of inappropriate behavior, but Horner was recently cleared of all charges. However, a supposed evidence leak has generated more controversy around Horner. The President of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) finally addressed this alleged revelation.

During the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, the FIA President reportedly had a discussion with F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali about Horner’s case. It is worth noting that the sports regulatory body may not have direct authority to take action against Christian Horner. In the past, the FIA has emphasized the importance of justice and integrity throughout the process.

Mohammed Ben Sulayem has now expressed his thoughts on the alleged evidence leak in Horner’s case. The 62-year-old man acknowledged that this situation is detrimental to Formula 1, as Horner is a public figure with millions of fans. The FIA President also emphasized that the impact of the accusations goes beyond the sport, affecting individuals on a personal level.

Although Ben Sulayem clarified that the FIA currently has no plans to take action against Horner, as they have not received any formal complaints regarding the Red Bull Team Principal, the situation remains concerning. Christian Horner himself has chosen not to comment on anonymous speculations about the alleged leak. However, it has been reported that his wife, Geri Halliwell, who was once a member of the Spice Girls, feels humiliated after an anonymous email allegedly leaked multiple pieces of evidence through a Google Drive link.

Despite the ongoing controversy, Christian Horner has continued to fulfill his role as the head of the Red Bull team during the Bahrain Grand Prix. However, there are rumors that Geri Halliwell may choose not to attend the race, instead of supporting her husband on the track. Neither Horner nor Halliwell have made public statements about their relationship since the alleged leak.

Undoubtedly, Christian Horner finds himself in a difficult position at the beginning of the 2024 F1 season. The 50-year-old man has consistently denied all accusations, and there has been no official confirmation regarding the alleged evidence that has been made public. The outcome for the Red Bull Team Principal in the coming days remains uncertain.
