Lewis Hamilton’s dramatic F1 qualifying incident at the Japanese Grand Prix has set tongues wagging as the world watches with bated breath. The seven-time Formula 1 champion found himself entangled in a heart-stopping near-miss with Williams star Carlos Sainz during the qualifying session at the Suzuka International Circuit.

The qualifying session was marred by chaos as multiple grass fires erupted on the bone-dry trackside grass due to skid block sparks from the F1 machinery. The session was red-flagged, causing a temporary halt as the fires were brought under control. However, the drama didn’t end there.

As the remaining drivers resumed their laps, Hamilton, on a flying lap, encountered a slow-moving Sainz in the middle of the track at a high-speed corner, forcing the British driver to make a split-second decision to avoid a collision. The incident has since sparked an investigation into whether Sainz impeded Hamilton during his lap.

If found guilty, Sainz could face a three-place grid penalty, adding further fuel to the fire in this intense F1 rivalry. Fans and experts alike are eagerly awaiting the stewards’ decision on this nail-biting incident, which could have significant implications for Sunday’s main event at the Japanese Grand Prix. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story as the F1 world holds its breath for the verdict.
