Max Verstappen Shocks with Suzuka Pole in Japanese GP Qualifying Upset

In a stunning turn of events at the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix qualifying session, Max Verstappen has snatched pole position from the dominating McLarens, securing a record-breaking pole laptime at Suzuka. This marks Verstappen’s first pole position since June ’24, sending shockwaves through the Formula 1 world.

Verstappen’s teammate, Yuki Tsunoda, initially showed promise but ultimately settled for 15th place in his Red Bull debut, adding to the drama unfolding at the iconic Suzuka circuit.
