Revolutionizing the Off-Road Racing Scene: Dominant Trio Leads the Pack at San Felipe

In a heart-pounding display of skill and speed, Gustavo ‘Tavo’ Vildosola, Bryce Menzies, and Luke McMillin have emerged as the frontrunners in the electrifying King Shocks 38th SCORE San Felipe 250. With over 250 racers revving up for the challenge, these three drivers have set the bar high for the adrenaline-fueled event.

Vildosola, hailing from Mexicali, Mexico, blazed through the course in his Vildosola Racing No. 21 Ford Raptor, leaving his competitors in the dust with a lightning-fast qualifying time of four minutes, 33.506 seconds. Not far behind, Menzies, a seasoned veteran who clinched victory in 2021, showcased his prowess with the second-best qualifying time of 4:33.795 in his No. 7 AWD Ford Raptor. Not to be outdone, McMillin roared into third place with a time of 4:35.943 in the No. 83 all-wheel drive Mason-built Chevy SCORE Trophy Truck.

The intensity didn’t stop there, as Ryan Daniel dominated the SCORE TT 2WD class with a stellar time of 4:51.311 in his No. 28T Jimco-built Chevy Silverado. In the fiercely competitive SCORE TT Legend class, the legendary Ricky Johnson, at 60 years old, proved that age is just a number by securing the top qualifying spot with a time of 4:46.413.

As the racers gear up for the grueling 250.06-mile race course, excitement is reaching a fever pitch at the scenic El Malecon start/finish line compound overlooking the stunning Sea of Cortez. With participants from 23 U.S. States, one U.S. Territory, and seven countries, including Australia, Canada, and Argentina, the event has truly become a global spectacle of speed and skill.

The stage is set for a showdown of epic proportions, with fierce competition expected in classes such as SCORE Trophy Truck, Trophy Truck Spec, and Pro UTV FI. As the final days of registration unfold, the anticipation is palpable as 248 official entries prepare to battle it out for off-road supremacy.

In the world of motorcycles, the action is just as intense, with riders in classes like Pro Moto Ironman, Pro Moto Limited, and Pro Moto Unlimited revving their engines for a shot at glory. With the thrill of off-road racing pulsating through the desert air, the San Felipe 250 is shaping up to be a high-octane extravaganza like no other.

Stay tuned as the fearless competitors rev up their engines and unleash their full throttle potential in a quest for victory at the legendary San Felipe 250.
