McLaren’s Oscar Piastri Dominates FP2 at F1 2025 Japanese Grand Prix!

In a thrilling session at the 2025 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix, McLaren’s Oscar Piastri dominated the track, setting the fastest time during FP2 at Suzuka. With a blistering lap of 1:28.114s, Piastri left his teammate Lando Norris trailing by 0.049s, showcasing McLaren’s strength at the circuit.

Racing Bulls’ Isack Hadjar impressed by securing the third spot, followed by the seasoned veteran Lewis Hamilton from Ferrari. The young talent Liam Lawson claimed the fifth position, while George Russell from Mercedes and Charles Leclerc from Ferrari followed closely behind.

The FP2 session saw Max Verstappen from Red Bull, Pierre Gasly from Alpine, and Carlos Sainz from Williams completing the top 10, setting the stage for an intense battle in the upcoming races.

3. Isack Hadjar – Racing Bulls – 1:28.518
4. Lewis Hamilton – Ferrari – 1:28.544

6. George Russell – Mercedes – 1:28.567
7. Charles Leclerc – Ferrari – 1:28.586
8. Max Verstappen – Red Bull – 1:28.670
9. Pierre Gasly – Alpine – 1:28.757
10. Carlos Sainz – Williams – 1:28.832
