Rolls-Royce revela o exclusivo Arcadia Droptail

After having revealed the first two out of four units of the new Droptail, Rolls-Royce has now unveiled the third unit of what will certainly be the most expensive car on the planet, with each copy estimated to cost 25 million euros.

Created by the Coachbuild customization division of the Goodwood house, the Arcadia Droptail is an extremely exclusive convertible with a removable articulated hardtop, measuring 5.3m in length, 2.0m in width, with only two seats and a 6.75-liter V12 twin-turbo engine producing 600hp and 840Nm of torque, capable of reaching 0-100km/h in 5.0 seconds and achieving an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.

According to Rolls-Royce, the special customer who ordered the Arcadia had a special taste for clarity as well as natural materials and precision in all areas of his life, which resulted in an exterior design with a metallic white paint with glass and metal flakes finish. The metal flakes, in this case aluminum, are larger than usual to provide extra shine when light hits the surface of the car.

The customer also opted for a dark gray for the lower sections of the car and a mirrored finish in homage to historic Rolls-Royces, which is clearly visible in the 22-inch rims.

In the cabin, the seat is used in contrast with customizations with the customer’s name and used only for this Arcadia Droptail, and with beige leather sections, joined by generous wood panel surfaces, in an exquisite work carried out by Rolls-Royce craftsmen.

Still in the cabin, highlight for the unique clock, designed and developed by Rolls-Royce Coachbuild designers and craftsmen, with hour markers one millimeter thick and hand-painted sections, which according to the brand required the painter to use a camera to enlarge the image, a process that took five months to complete.
