In a jaw-dropping move, Red Bull is all set to unveil a striking white livery at the upcoming Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix as a heartfelt tribute to their departing engine partner, Honda.
The iconic white design, reminiscent of the ‘White Bull’ livery from the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix, is a nod to the fruitful partnership between Red Bull and Honda that began in 2019. This collaboration has resulted in four Drivers’ titles, two Constructors’ titles, and over 60 Grand Prix victories.
The decision to don the white-themed livery is not just for show – it holds a deep significance. The color white pays homage to Honda Racing Corporation’s historic ‘Championship White’ liveried machines, symbolizing Honda’s racing legacy that spans decades.
Moreover, the design of the livery celebrates the 60th anniversary of Honda’s first F1 race winner, the RA272, which triumphed at the 1965 Mexico GP. The choice to showcase this tribute at Suzuka is particularly poignant as Honda owns the circuit that hosts its home Grand Prix.
