Oscar Piastri sugere que Max Verstappen e a Red Bull estavam se segurando durante as sessões de treinos livres FP1 e FP2 no Bahrein.

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez did not make a strong impression on the time tables during yesterday’s sessions at the Bahrain GP. The 2024 Formula 1 season started with the 20 cars going out on the track in Bahrain for FP1 and FP2. While the cars were a spectacle to behold, Red Bull did not show their full potential. McLaren’s perspective on the matter is quite interesting.

According to Australian driver Oscar Piastri, Red Bull was intentionally holding back during yesterday’s practice sessions. Piastri firmly believes that the Milton-Keynes team has a lot of speed that they have not unleashed.

In an interview with F1 after the sessions, Piastri expressed his expectations for Red Bull and their performance in today’s qualifying session. He also hinted at a fierce battle between some teams.

Piastri not only talked about Red Bull, but also shared his thoughts on McLaren’s position compared to other teams. He finished FP2 in fifth place.

The 2024 Bahrain GP is proving to be unpredictable. After FP1 and FP2, the grid is mixed, with Red Bull in the top 10 and Mercedes leading the pack.

FP3 session will provide more clarity, as Red Bull is expected to reveal their true potential. The first qualifying session of the season will be exciting for fans, media, and teams.
