Reigning F1 champion Max Verstappen is sounding the alarm for Red Bull Racing ahead of the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix. Despite currently sitting in second place overall in the championship standings, Verstappen is not satisfied with the performance of the RB21 car.

Verstappen expressed his concerns after the Chinese Grand Prix, highlighting the significant performance gap between the RB21 and its competitors from McLaren. While acknowledging some improvements compared to last year, Verstappen emphasized that the car is still not where he wants it to be.

In a post-race interview, Verstappen discussed the challenges faced during the race and the need for further improvements in the car’s performance. He emphasized the importance of analyzing the data gathered from the race to enhance the overall performance of the car for the Japanese Grand Prix.

Looking ahead to the Japanese GP, Verstappen remains hopeful but cautious. He noted that the Suzuka circuit suits his driving style but emphasized the importance of the car also being well-suited to the track. Verstappen highlighted the team’s focus on extracting more performance from the car and expressed optimism about potential improvements for the upcoming race.

As Red Bull Racing faces challenges in the early stages of the 2025 season, all eyes will be on Verstappen and the team as they work to overcome obstacles and elevate their performance on the track. Fans can expect an intense battle for improvement as the season progresses, with Verstappen’s determination driving the team forward in pursuit of success.
