Pramac Ducati reveals new bold color design for the 2024 MotoGP season.

Pramac Ducati revela novo design de cor ousado para a temporada de MotoGP de 2024.

The Pramac Ducati team revealed their 2024 design in an online launch on Wednesday night ahead of the opening round of the Qatar Grand Prix. The Italian team opted for a bold color scheme, abandoning the traditional use of white in favor of a completely purple and red look. The design is similar to what was seen on their 2023 Ducati, but without the white sections that were present on the previous machine.

The additional purple in the design reflects the ongoing support of main sponsor Prima, an insurance company that had a successful campaign in 2023 with the team, competing for the overall title with Jorge Martin. Martin, who will continue to use the number #89, remains with the team this year, while Franco Morbidelli joins him after replacing Johann Zarco, who moved to LCR Honda. Morbidelli will compete with the number #21, the same number he used during his time at Yamaha.

After coming very close to the 2023 title for factory Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia, who claimed his second consecutive championship, Martin will seek to leverage his experience of fighting for the premier class title to stand out and win his first championship. Pramac also aims to defend their team crown, which they won for the first time in their history, finishing with a 91-point advantage over the factory team.

On the other hand, Morbidelli is eager to leave behind a challenging period with Yamaha. His last podium finish was almost three years ago in Jerez, when he was racing with the Petronas SRT Yamaha satellite team. Since 2020, he has also struggled to break into the top ten in the rider standings, after finishing as runner-up behind Suzuki rider Joan Mir.
