Christian Horner deixa a equipe sem consequências apesar de evidências de má conduta.

The head of the Red Bull team, Christian Horner, is currently under investigation following allegations of inappropriate conduct made by an employee. The news has captured the attention of Formula 1 fans worldwide, overshadowing the upcoming 2024 season. While teams are busy preparing for the races, all eyes are on the imminent announcement regarding the charges against Horner.

Horner has been in charge of Red Bull Racing since 2005 and has enjoyed great success during his tenure. The 50-year-old played a key role in Red Bull’s domination on the F1 tracks from 2010 to 2013. Under his leadership, the team also achieved success in 2021, challenging the seven-time world champion for the title.

However, Horner’s achievements have been tarnished by allegations of misconduct. An employee filed a complaint against him at the end of the 2023 season, leading to an internal investigation by Red Bull. Horner vehemently denied all accusations, but reports suggest that he may have sent inappropriate text messages to the complainant.

After weeks of speculation, The Times recently reported that an external lawyer in charge of the case will exonerate Horner. This development is surprising, considering that previous reports suggested the existence of substantial evidence against him.

The current Red Bull world champion, Max Verstappen, has a close relationship with Horner, having been with the team since 2016. Verstappen, who has won three Formula 1 titles under Horner’s leadership, seemed unconcerned when approached for comment on the investigation. He remains focused on his goal of winning the fourth world title, aiming to equal the record set by Red Bull legend Sebastian Vettel between 2010 and 2013.

Despite the ongoing allegations against his team boss, Verstappen is determined to perform exceptionally well for Red Bull in the upcoming season. His eyes are firmly set on victory, refusing to let the controversy distract him from his pursuit of success.
