Red Bull conclui investigação e absolve Horner.

The boss of Red Bull Racing in Formula 1, Christian Horner, has received approval from the company’s parent organization following an investigation into allegations related to his behavior. The parent company initiated an independent investigation, conducted by an external specialist lawyer, after becoming aware of unspecified accusations against Horner. During the investigation, Horner maintained his innocence and continued to fulfill his role as team principal and CEO of Red Bull Racing. The allegations came to light shortly before the launch of the Red Bull car, causing this issue to overshadow the team’s preparations for the pre-season. Prior to the Bahrain Grand Prix, a spokesperson for Red Bull confirmed that the complaint had been dismissed. Red Bull GmbH stated that the complainant has the right to appeal, but they are confident that the investigation was conducted fairly, rigorously, and impartially. The details of the investigation report are confidential, and out of respect for all parties involved, Red Bull refrains from making further comments. The company remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of work.

Although the official statement did not directly address the issue, it is worth noting that Horner has been in charge of Red Bull Racing since its foundation in 2005, following the acquisition of Jaguar by Red Bull. As a result, he has become a prominent and influential figure in the Formula 1 paddock. This is what made the pre-season drama surrounding him particularly prominent. The severity of the accusation led to a thorough and extensive investigation initiated by the parent company. This incident reflects Red Bull’s increasing focus on the F1 team, treating it as an integral part of the business with greater responsibility. Although not of the same level of severity, last year, Helmut Marko, a key figure within Red Bull, faced scrutiny for derogatory comments about Red Bull Racing driver Sergio Perez. Marko was required to issue a public apology, although the consequences were less formal.
