Excitement: Reasons to celebrate, Go Ferrari!

Excitação: Motivos para comemorar, Vai Ferrari!

Anticipating the longest Formula 1 World Championship in history, it is crucial to consider the current state of our beloved Ferrari. First and foremost, it is important to note that the team has undergone a significant transformation this year. Reflecting on the chaos that followed Binotto’s departure just a year ago, it is evident that the team was in disarray. The SF-23, to be frank, was far from impressive. Despite this, we managed to secure the victory, making us the only team to do so.

However, this season presents a different scenario for Ferrari. Under Fred’s guidance, the team has undergone a revitalization. There is a renewed confidence in the Scuderia, evident in the expressions of Charles, Fred, and even Carlos. Their interviews suggest that they may possess knowledge that has not yet been revealed.

In addition to their demeanor, another promising aspect lies in Sainz’s performance during the testing week. Amidst the plethora of data, his successful race on hard tires stood out. This is more significant than the Winter World Champion Ferrari’s winning lap pace, as it confirms the drivers’ claims.

Charles Leclerc admitted at the start of the testing week, “We are progressing well. Once again, the car is doing what it needs to do, which was not the case at the beginning of last year. That was a very, very difficult car to drive. This year it’s easier, so we’re starting from a better base, but there is still a lot of work to do.” Carlos Sainz echoed this sentiment, expressing his positivity and encouragement regarding the team’s efforts in car development.

The team boss, Fred Vasseur, commented, “It’s difficult to know exactly where we stand in terms of pure performance, but Carlos and Charles are in a much better place with the car. The car is much more consistent, with much less tire degradation, which is important for the race for sure.”

It is worth noting that seventeen years have passed since Ferrari claimed the last drivers’ title in the Formula 1 World Championship, with Kimi Raikkonen in 2007. Despite this long drought, there is a glimmer of hope for the team. However, they must first overcome the formidable combination of Red Bull, Max Verstappen, and Adrian Newey.

In conclusion, although the road ahead may be challenging, there is a faint ray of hope for Ferrari in the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship. Let us come together in support of our team and embrace the spirit of Forza Ferrari!
