2025 Chinese Grand Prix Viewing Guide: Live Stream and TV Schedule for USA, UK, and Australia

The adrenaline from the second wave of the 2025 Formula 1 season remains high after an electrifying showdown at the Albert Park Circuit where Lando Norris narrowly escaped Max Verstappen’s pursuit. The action continues as the sporting spectacle moves to the Shanghai International Circuit for the Chinese GP.

McLaren has established an early dominance, but a resurgence from Ferrari is anticipated. Verstappen’s Red Bull and Mercedes are also contenders to watch, with hopes of shaking up the leaderboard during the grueling 56-lap race. All eyes are on Norris as he vies for his second win of the season and his third consecutive victory in the sport.

For the racing enthusiasts, mark your calendars for March 21-23. The drivers will once again take to the track, this time on the challenging 5.451km/3.388mi Shanghai circuit. The race lap record here, a blistering 1:32.238, is still held by the legendary Michael Schumacher.

The Shanghai track, known for its dauntingly long back straight and complex Turn 1-3, is a playground for overtaking. It offers numerous opportunities for drivers to climb up the ranks, leading to some unforgettable races in the past. Fans will recall the 2018 showdown when Daniel Ricciardo brilliantly overtook Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen, and Valtteri Bottas to clinch a surprise victory. On the other hand, an overly ambitious Verstappen ended up crashing into Sebastian Vettel.

This year, Verstappen returns as the defending race winner, but the McLaren duo of Norris and Piastri could upset his reign. Both drivers are ambitious for their first win on this circuit. Meanwhile, Ferrari aims to recover from their disappointing performance at the Australian GP by supporting Hamilton and Charles Leclerc in their pursuit of the podium.

The rookies will also be looking to bounce back from their challenging debut in Melbourne’s torrential conditions. Notably, Isack Hadjar, Jack Doohan, Gabriel Bortoleto, and Liam Lawson all aim to recover from their crashes.

Now, as the stakes rise and permutations take shape, here’s how fans in the United Kingdom, United States, and Australia can catch all the action of the 2025 Chinese GP.

For American viewers, live sessions will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN+, with additional coverage available through Disney+. F1 TV Pro is another viable option, offering ad-free live streams with onboard cameras for all 20 drivers.

In the United Kingdom, the race can be followed via Sky Sports F1 and NOW (streaming), while Channel 4 will be broadcasting highlights of the action.

Australian fans can tune into Fox Sports, Kayo Sports, and Foxtel for live coverage of the entire race weekend.

Total-Motorsport.com will also provide comprehensive live coverage of all practice sessions, qualifying, and the Chinese Grand Prix. Fans can easily follow the live blogs and stay updated with real-time reactions and updates as they unfold. This promises to be yet another thrilling race as the 2025 Formula 1 season continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
