Stellantis vai avaliar tecnologia de micromobilidade da sueca Luvly

The Swedish micromobility manufacturer Luvly has announced that it has established a partnership with Stellantis, which will allow the fourth largest automotive group to evaluate the innovative technology of ready-to-assemble vehicles.

This is an electric microcar, and Luvly’s patented chassis design uses a series of large composite panels joined with aluminum connectors, to which other important components (such as suspension, motors, and body panels) are attached.

The company has already revealed that the safety of the small model has not been overlooked and that the structure of the quadricycle includes a layer of aluminum between two layers of plastic foam, designed to absorb the impact of a collision.

The promise of the Swedish brand is that the microcar will arrive at customers’ homes packaged and ready to assemble; however, the assembly is carried out by company technicians who perform the setup at the customer’s location, adhering to all safety standards.

This collaboration between Stellantis and Luvly, lasting one year, aims to explore the potential of the Swedish brand’s unique approach to vehicle design and production, which prioritizes lightweight materials, accessibility, and safety.

“We believe that our technology has the potential to revolutionize the way vehicles are designed and built. We are very happy to have the opportunity to work with Stellantis on this project”, said Håkan Lutz, CEO of Luvly, in an exclusive interview with Zag Daily.

Recall that the Luvly O was announced in 2023, but it has not yet gone on sale, being equipped with a 6.4 kWh battery, which claims a maximum range of 100 km/h and a weight of less than 400 kg, allowing it to reach a speed of 90 km/h. All for a price announced at the time of €10,000.
