As the NASCAR season kickstarts, Ryan Preece and RFK Racing are laying the groundwork for a promising future. Preece, a seasoned racer, now in the cockpit of the No. 60 Ford Mustang, is optimistic about the synergy within his new team as they gear up for the Pennzoil 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Preece attributes their early progress to the team’s chemistry, particularly the camaraderie among the core road crew group and the car chief. The team’s unwavering commitment and positive mindset are paving the way for their success. This, coupled with an efficient pit crew, could be a game-changer, helping them gain an edge on pit road and maintain their positions.

Four races into the season, Preece has secured two top-20 finishes and currently ranks 24th in the championship standings. This is quite an achievement considering RFK Racing is a new team for Preece. The organization expanded its operations to incorporate a third entry, bringing Preece on board and assembling the No. 60 Ford Mustang.

Chris Buescher, another member of the RFK Racing team, is leading the pack, standing 10th in the standings. Preece is also ahead of his teammate and boss, Brad Keselowski, who is 33rd in the standings.

The determination and drive to win within the team have impressed Preece. He appreciates the concerted efforts of the team and their commitment to success. Preece himself is actively involved in various aspects of the team’s preparations, including pit practices. He’s also utilizing the athletic performance center that RFK has built, contributing to a refreshing and constructive environment.

Transitioning to a new team brings its own set of challenges. Preece, however, is no stranger to change. Having spent two seasons at Stewart-Haas Racing and part of 2022 racing only two full-time races, he’s navigated through similar adjustments before. His first three years in the Cup Series were spent with JTG Daugherty Racing.

Embracing change, Preece is open to learning and adapting. He is not only focused on understanding the new team’s dynamics but also on gaining fresh perspectives and observing different processes. His positive experiences with RFK Racing extend beyond the track. He admires Keselowski’s leadership skills and appreciates the vision that the organization is working towards.

In Preece’s own words, he’s thoroughly enjoying his time at RFK, indicating a promising journey ahead for him and the team.
