Fórmula 1 resiste às regras da equipe para exibir cores LGBTQ no Grande Prêmio do Bahrein, argumentando que ‘elas vão contra as regulamentações da organização’

The Bahrain International Circuit celebrates its 20th anniversary on the F1 calendar, but has faced criticism for a recent event.

The F1 scene is actively preparing for the season opener taking place in Bahrain. However, an instruction issued by track security has raised suspicions behind the scenes. F1 and circuit officials have now intervened and declared these instructions null and void.

According to reports, members of F1 teams and their affiliates were instructed not to wear clothes or accessories with rainbow colors, which symbolize support for the LGBTQ+ movement. This contradicts F1’s policies, as the organization promotes inclusion in the sport. The initial reports caused outrage, leading F1 and circuit owners to intervene and clarify the situation.

In response to the negative reaction, F1 has made it clear that it supports the movement and individuals are free to express themselves within organizational guidelines. The sport aims to set an example of inclusion and hopes to distance itself from controversial headlines like this.

The paddock and fans around the world eagerly await the return of race week, which this time starts a day earlier on Saturday. In addition, driver [driver’s name] has shared his predictions ahead of the Grand Prix weekend.
