Christian Horner escolhe sem piedade Daniel Ricciardo em vez de Max Verstappen.

In a scene recorded at Horner’s house, viewers witnessed an authentic moment as the 50-year-old man spent time with his wife Geri Horner and their two young children.

Max Verstappen found himself unexpectedly excluded by Christian Horner, who revealed his true favorite in the world of Formula 1.

Despite assumptions that the current three-time world champion would occupy the top position in Horner’s heart, it was surprisingly revealed in the second episode of Netflix’s sixth season of “Drive to Survive” that another driver had won the coveted spot.

Horner, the leader of the Red Bull racing team, has been a prominent figure in the program since its creation in 2019.

The most recent season continues to show the team’s success, with three driver championships and two constructor championships won since 2020.

In a scene recorded at Horner’s house, viewers witnessed an authentic moment as the 50-year-old man spent time with his wife Geri Horner and their two young children.

During this intimate family environment, Horner asked his daughter Olivia about her favorite driver.

Olivia’s response, “All of them… at Red Bull,” set the stage for the revelation to come.

Reversing roles with her father, Olivia then asked, “Who holds the first place in your heart?” Horner’s immediate response surprised many: “Daniel Ricciardo.”

This revelation may have shocked fans, considering Verstappen’s impressive record and Ricciardo’s departure from Red Bull.

However, Horner’s fondness for Ricciardo is rooted in their long history together, as the Australian driver emerged from the Red Bull academy.

Reflecting on their relationship, Horner shared, “Daniel was a product of our junior team. He raced with us for five years, achieving seven Grand Prix victories and over 20 podiums, all accomplished in Red Bull Racing cars.

Ricciardo’s career suffered a decline after leaving Red Bull, with limited success at Renault and McLaren.

However, he secured a place in the rebranded F1 RB team for the 2024 season, partnering with Yuki Tsunoda.

Meanwhile, Horner finds himself involved in controversy as Red Bull investigates allegations of inappropriate behavior towards a female colleague.
