Piloto de Fórmula Um demitido por transferência de Lewis Hamilton para a Ferrari receberá apoio de Maranello até o final da corrida.

The team boss of Scuderia Ferrari, Fred Vasseur, expressed his commitment to treat all drivers fairly in the upcoming 2024 season. The highly anticipated Formula 1 season is yet to begin, but preparations for the next year are already underway. A major development is the surprising move of Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari in 2025, which caught his teammate Carlos Sainz, 29, off guard. As a result, Sainz currently finds himself without a seat for the next Formula 1 season.

Sainz will conclude his final season with the Italian team this year and will seek the best possible results to increase his chances of securing a seat with another team on the grid. Vasseur emphasized that there will be no changes within the team for the 2024 season and acknowledged the difficulty of the situation for Sainz. The team boss described the decision as the toughest one of his life.

In addition, Vasseur reflected on the 2023 season and highlighted Sainz’s exceptional performance as the only non-Red Bull winner throughout the year. This demonstrated Sainz’s dedication and gave Vasseur confidence in his focus for the upcoming season. The 55-year-old driver also ensured that the team would support Sainz until the end, regardless of the circumstances.

During the 2024 testing session, Sainz impressed by leading one of the sessions in the challenging SF24. The team praised the car for not having any unexpected issues and for offering excellent performance. Vasseur expressed his satisfaction with the chassis development and its performance so far.

According to statements from both Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, the team is confident in the capabilities of the car for the 2024 season. This sets the stage for an exciting competition with Mercedes as Ferrari aims for the second position in the constructors’ standings. However, Red Bull’s dominant performance in the testing sessions suggests that they will likely secure the victory once again this season.

Therefore, it is crucial for Carlos Sainz to perform at his best throughout the season to secure his place on the grid. Sainz recently outlined the schedule for making the final decision about the team he will race for beyond 2025. Consequently, the 2024 season holds great significance for the driver as he strives to make his mark in the sport and secure a contract, potentially with Audi. However, it is still uncertain where Sainz will go in the next season.
