Recently, Formula 1 rejected the proposal from the renowned racing team Andretti Autosports to enter Formula 1 for the 2024 season. The application was declined due to concerns about the team’s competitiveness and its potential contribution to Formula 1. However, discussions are ongoing to possibly reconsider this decision.

This was Andretti’s second attempt to return to the Formula 1 grid, as a last-minute agreement in 2021 to take over Sauber did not materialize. While many team bosses oppose Andretti’s entry, the boss of the Red Bull Racing team is open to the idea of the Americans joining the sport. However, he does not see them joining as the 11th team.

Although the chances of Andretti joining the grid are small, Horner has not completely ruled it out. During the same media session, the CEO of McLaren stated that Formula 1 has outlined the requirements and made the decision, and now they are focused on their own racing teams and moving forward with the season.

Christian Horner, the boss of Red Bull Racing, faced allegations of inappropriate behavior in February and reportedly was asked to voluntarily resign. Since then, he has been under scrutiny and investigation. However, he categorically denied these allegations.

Pre-season testing for the 2024 season was recently completed. During this period, Christian Horner and the Red Bull Paddock were in the news due to a claim made against him by an employee of a company. Reports from Viaplay Finland suggested that Christian Horner would be fired by the end of the week, but it was subsequently clarified that this was mere speculation and not a real decision.

Despite conflicting responses, Horner reassured Red Bull supporters that he would lead the team with confidence in the season and emphasized that there is no animosity between him and other key figures at Red Bull. However, speculation about the future of the current boss of the Red Bull team continues to circulate, and his fate remains uncertain.
