Time Motorsport – Equipe de Kyle Bush processa a NASCAR por iniciativa de diversidade, acusada de viés contra homens caucasianos, buscando $325 mil em danos.

The Kyle Busch Motorsports team is taking legal action against Rev Racing, the competition arm of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity initiative. The NASCAR Cup Series champion’s truck team is seeking $325,000 in unpaid fees from the 2023 season. KBM provided trucks for the Mexican driver of Rev Racing and agreed to a payment of $2.9 million for his high-level participation. However, the full payment was not made, leading to the lawsuit. It is believed that the issue is due to an accounting error, and KBM hopes it will be resolved soon.

A law firm called America First Legal has also filed a lawsuit against NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program and Rev Racing, claiming that the project discriminates against white men and is unconstitutional. This firm has already taken legal action against MLB, Starbucks, McDonald’s, and other organizations.

In an interesting twist, the RCR driver who sued Sanchez and his team will be Sanchez’s teammate in five races in the 2024 season. Kyle Busch is scheduled to race for Spire Motorsports in selected races, starting with the next race in Atlanta. KBM has sold its assets to Spire Motorsport, including the race shop, making it the new home for both Sanchez and Busch. If the situation is not resolved beforehand, this could lead to awkward encounters between the two drivers.

Despite the ongoing legal issues, Sanchez has had a good start to the 2024 season. He won the opening race in Daytona and secured the first spot in the playoffs. With Spire Motorsports, which reached the Championship-4 last year with Carson Hocevar, Sanchez hopes to continue his winning form and compete for the championship.
