Kyle Busch compara ‘Rowdy Nation’ com as torcidas de Dale Earnhardt e Jeff Gordon à medida que se aproxima do fim de sua carreira no esporte.

Kyle Busch is currently enjoying his time as one of the beloved figures in the eyes of NASCAR enthusiasts. He is a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and widely recognized as one of the greatest drivers in the sport’s history. With an impressive record of 229 wins in the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck series races, Busch has established himself as a generational talent.

Despite his success, Busch has had both passionate supporters and detractors within the sport. In the past, he was often labeled as the “NASCAR Villain” due to his personality and association with Toyota while racing for Joe Gibbs Racing. However, since his move to RCR in 2023 and the strategic use of social media, he has managed to win the hearts of many fans and is now considered one of the most beloved drivers in the NASCAR community.

Busch’s transition from TRD to Chevy also played a significant role in reshaping fans’ perception of him. In a recent podcast, Busch noted that haters often become fans of drivers like him, Dale Earnhardt, and Jeff Gordon as they age and start winning less. He believes a similar transformation is currently happening with him.

Busch’s image transformation from a NASCAR villain to a hero was the result of his team’s diligent work in showcasing his true self on social media. By highlighting his role as a family man, the team successfully portrayed Busch in a positive light. Additionally, his timely move to RCR and association with Chevy contributed to his swift redemption.

Another significant factor in Busch’s image change is the emergence of a new villain in the sport. His former teammate, Denny Hamlin, has embraced this role and made it part of his personal brand. While Hamlin was previously one of the most disliked drivers on the grid, the negative focus has now shifted away from Busch since their time as teammates.

Both Busch and Hamlin are aware that they have a few years left in their racing careers as age catches up. However, they are currently performing at the peak of their abilities and delivering thrilling races for their fans. It is important for NASCAR enthusiasts to appreciate and enjoy this exciting phase while it lasts.
