Hyundai coloca ponto final nos modelos “N” com motor a combustão na Europa

Hyundai has decided to put an end to the “N” versions powered by combustion engines in Europe in order to focus on fully electric models.

Thus, the i30N and the newest i20N follow in the footsteps of the Kauai N and no longer have a place in the brand’s lineup in Europe, which now focuses on electric variants such as the Ioniq 5 N.

“Production of the combustion engine models with the ‘N’ seal ceased in the European market since February, in line with our commitment to offer customers a zero-emission range by 2035 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2045,” Hyundai said in a statement to “Carscoops.”

“In the future, in Europe, the South Korean brand is developing the Hyundai N as a pioneer of high-performance electric vehicles. Our customers will benefit from technological developments that will make electric vehicles even more attractive in the future.”
