Bugatti leva o Bolide ao limite em Imola

Bugatti continues to work on the hyper sports car Bolide, a model that will have a limited production of 40 units, all already sold, and this time it revealed the work done with the super sports car on the Imola circuit, in Italy.

It is known that the new model from the house of Molsheim is equipped with a 8.0-liter W16 engine capable of delivering an impressive 1,600 horsepower to move the 1,450 kg of weight of this model, which was pushed to the limit on the Italian circuit.

It is certain that the Bolide is destined for the tracks, but so that its owners can “master” all the power of the new Bugatti, the brand took advantage of the latest tests to put the Brembo braking system to the test, which equips the new model, which Bugatti says is at the level of the technology used in Formula 1.

For this, the Bolide makes use of customized front brakes that are the largest ever in carbon and that incorporate two eight-piston monobloc calipers, both equipped with four 25 mm high-performance pads and 390×37.5 mm carbon discs.

The rear axle features two six-piston monobloc calipers with four high-performance brake pads, although slightly thinner at 24.5 mm, and 390×34 mm carbon discs, which Bugatti claims offer high performance.

It should be noted that the Molsheim brand has already announced that all 40 units of the Bolide have been sold, each with a price of €4 million.
