Kia has announced that it will unveil the EV4 on February 27, during “EV Day,” which will take place in Tarragona (Spain).
During the event, the world premiere of the EV4 will occur, which was presented as a prototype at the first EV Day in 2024. The new model is set to be offered globally as both a sedan and a hatchback. Both will feature a futuristic Opposites United design that incorporates some details used in the EV6, as well as elements from the EV3, notably the E-GMP platform.

The details of the new Kia EV4 will be revealed at the end of February; however, all indications suggest that Kia’s new 100% electric model will be offered with 58.3 and 81.4 kWh batteries, which can power a front-mounted electric motor developing 204 hp and 283 Nm of torque.
In addition to the world premiere of the new EV4, Kia will also introduce the PV5, which will be based on an adapted version of the E-GMP platform used in the EV6 and EV9, featuring front-wheel drive and a 400V electric architecture instead of 800V.

Benefiting from a flat floor due to the customized platform, the PV5 can be adapted for multiple uses, and Kia has indicated that everything inside can be changed, except for the driver’s area, through specific modules.
The South Korean brand announced that the PV5 will be offered in four versions at launch, including a “People Mover” variant designed for passenger transport and with generous space for cargo.
At the EV Day in Tarragona, Kia will also unveil the concept of the EV2, a small 100% electric compact model that is expected to hit the market in 2026 at an affordable price.
