Toyota Gazoo Racing, the sports division of the Japanese manufacturer, is working on the brand’s next sports car, a model that promises to be inspired by the Lexus LFA.
After several months of testing with camouflaged prototypes, the Japanese magazine “BestCars” reports that the new model is expected to enter production in the summer, with the first deliveries scheduled for the fall.

Internally known as GR GT3, it is still uncertain whether the new model will be a specific Gazoo Racing sports car or if it will bring the Lexus LFR.
The new model has already been “spotted” by “CarsCoops” both in road and track versions, which directly derive from the Toyota GR GT3 Concept of 2022, now featuring new aesthetic elements inspired by Lexus.
According to the Japanese publication, the new sports car is expected to be equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 720 hp, paired with a Full Hybrid system that promises a combined output of 900 hp.

This new super sports car will feature an aluminum chassis wrapped in a carbon fiber body, thus focusing on a lightweight and high-strength structure.
We just have to wait for the presentation of the new model, which is expected to happen next summer, and it’s certain that new details about this sports car may be revealed in the coming months.
