Porsche alarga gama Panamera com duas novas versões E-Hybrid

Porsche has announced the opening of orders for the new plug-in hybrid versions of the new Panamera equipped with a V6 engine, thus expanding the range of the German sports car.

In this way, with the arrival of the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and the 4S E-Hybrid, the Stuttgart brand responds to the strong interest shown in various markets for efficient and dynamic hybrid engines.

The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid combines a new e-hybrid system with a revamped 2.9-liter twin-turbo gasoline V6 engine, for a combined power output of 304 hp, a combined power output of 470 hp and a maximum torque of 650 Nm, which announces an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h.

The 4S E-Hybrid variant uses the same thermal engine, but has a combined power output of 544 hp and a maximum torque of 750 Nm. With these values, the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 290 km/h.

The electric motor installed in the PDK dual-clutch gearbox has been improved and delivers 190 hp, 54 hp more than its predecessor, and is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a gross capacity of 25.9 kWh, which allows for a 100% electric mode range of up to 96 km – which represents progress compared to the previous generation, which had a smaller capacity accumulator (17.9 kWh) and was only capable of 53 km of 100% electric driving. The on-board charger has 11 kW, which allows for 100% energy recovery in 2 hours and 39 minutes.

Porsche has also revealed that the four specific E-Hybrid driving modes, as well as the improved Sport and Sport Plus modes, further optimize the efficiency of the E-Hybrid models.

The standard equipment of the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid includes 19-inch wheels, black brake calipers, and LED Matrix headlights. The innovative high-resolution LED HD-Matrix headlight system is available as an option.

The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid stands out for its 20-inch Panamera AeroDesign wheels, Silver sports exhaust system tips, and red 10-piston brake calipers.

Among the options, the PCCB pack stands out with carbon ceramic brakes and 440mm discs at the front and 410mm at the rear axle with 21-inch wheels.

Meanwhile, the PASM adaptive air suspension system and the two-valve technology springs are standard in any of the versions, with the Porsche Active Ride active suspension available as an option, supported by the 400V electrical system, which reduces body movements in curves by adjusting the damping 13 times per second, as well as the raising and lowering of the body when entering and exiting the vehicle.

Porsche has already announced that the two new E-Hybrid variants of the Panamera are now available for order, with prices starting at €133,019 for the 4 E-Hybrid version, while the 4 E-Hybrid Executive variant starts at €144,757. The 4S E-Hybrid has a starting price of €148,796.

The Stuttgart-based brand also revealed that the first deliveries to the European market are scheduled for the beginning of the second quarter.
