Xiaomi revê em alta estimativas de vendas do SU7 para 2024

The Chinese company Xiaomi remains in the spotlight, and after announcing its intention to sell 10,000 units of the sporty and expensive SU7 Ultra this year, Lin Jun, the CEO and founder of the brand, has now revealed that the company is exploring ways to accelerate vehicle production.

Following the success of the launch of Xiaomi’s first fully electric model, the SU7, Li Jun announced via social media that he aims to speed up production without compromising the quality of its models.

“I will work with the team to find ways to accelerate production without compromising quality or safety.”, said Lei Jun on his account on the Chinese social network, Weibo.

It is worth noting that Xiaomi launched the SU7 in March 2024, and sales exceeded even the company’s internal forecasts, surpassing 130,000 units by the end of last year.

In the near future, the company will launch its first electric SUV, YU7, a model that aims to compete with the Tesla Model Y, which is expected to be produced at Xiaomi’s factory in Beijing and is set to hit the market by mid-2025.

The CEO of the Chinese brand has already announced that they will sell 300,000 units of the new YU7 by the end of the year, a model that will be equipped with a dual-motor configuration, featuring a front motor with 295 hp, combined with a rear motor that generates 386 hp, resulting in a total combined power of 681 hp.
